Horny Toads
The fourth grade class is doing a project on Horny Toads. Each kid partners up with a farmer. The farmer makes a chart of how many toads, where they found it, how warm it was, what month it is, and the code number. The 10 farmers find their field on a map, put a sticker on it and record all data on Arcview. Randy Mittelstaedt has been doing it for 12 years. Dick Stoddard has also been doing it for 12 years. Jocelyn Kruger says, “It’s my first time and I really enjoy it.”
